Act of Rage

Act of Rage

You have already performed at BE 24-7 events a couple of times. How did you experience the German crowd and fans?

Yes, that is true! They went berserk every time I played at  aBE 24-7 event. I even got the chance to stage dive at Pumpkin during my hardcore collab with DenekampsGespuis, called ‘Supreme Power’. And this while I was one of the first DJ’s of the night. In my opinion this characterizes the German crowd. They always arrive at the party early and are ready to go wild from the first kick till the last!

In 2017 you published your album Sabotage. Can you imagine producing another album? Are you currently working on new music/anything special for 2019?

I can imagine doing an album again, but for now I don’t have any idea when I’m going to do it. At the moment I’m working on a new solo track and I’ve already confirmed multiple collabs in different musical genres. I’m sorry I can’t tell you more about that now, but just keep an eye on my socials and you’ll be the first to know!

Can you tell us the story behind your track „Grown Up“? What does the track mean to you?

‘Grown Up’ means a lot to me. Personally I think ‘Grown Up’ is the track that represents my newer sound to my following.‘Grown Up’ is one of the first tracks, together with Alpha Rebel, that I released after the album and in my opinion the track represents the fact that I’m not the new kid on the block anymore. In other words, I think my style has evolved over the past 5 years into a mature, solid sound and that is represented in this track.

Do you follow any ritual before playing a gig?

First of all, I try to be at any party at least 1 hour before playtime. I usually go into the crowd to check out the atmosphere, stage, sound quality etc. After that I just hang out backstage with my friends and colleagues before the show. I drive to most of the gigs by myself, so I don’t usually drink before my sets. If I’m not driving to the show, I drink one or two beers and then I’m ready to go full throttle on stage. I grab some water, a towel and a microphone and then it’s time to rage!

If you could choose any non-hardstyle artist to produce a track with – who would you choose and why?

It would be awesome to work with famous rappers like Eminem or Post Malone, but I would also love it to work with someone completely different, such as Phil Collins. Weird combinations can result in awesome creations!

In which country you would like to perform where you haven´t played a gig yet?

I would love to go to America, Canada, Chile or to Asia, for example to China, Japan and Korea. Who knows, the future might bring me to some of these countries!
